For Parents

Parent and caregiver training in early intervention of speech and language is a primary focus of the Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Laboratory.  For young children, therapy can be most effective when performed in natural settings during daily activities.  For this reason, parents play a critical role in encouraging intervention effectiveness.   The resources provided on this page provide an introductory view of the intervention method that we use in our laboratory.

We are available for consultation, evaluation, and intervention for children with craniofacial conditions and we encourage parents interested in receiving more information about the services we provide and the research we conduct to contact us via our “Contact” page.
