Parent and caregiver training in early intervention of speech and language is a primary focus of the Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Laboratory. For young children, therapy can be most effective when performed in natural settings during daily activities. For this reason, parents play a critical role in encouraging intervention effectiveness. The resources provided on this page provide an introductory view of the intervention method that we use in our laboratory.
